Professor Elhachmi Guettaf Temam is a researcher and Full Professor at the University of Biskra (Algeria). He works in the Thin Films Physics and Applications Laboratory.

His research focuses on Materials Science, particularly the development, synthesis, and characterization of thin films and nanomaterials for environmental and industrial applications — especially in photocatalysis, water treatment, and pollutant removal. He also specializes in metal oxides, their properties, and performance enhancement through doping and various deposition techniques, with the aim of bridging fundamental research and practical applications.

He has made significant scientific contributions through numerous publications in reputable international peer-reviewed journals, supervision of postgraduate students, and active participation in the development of academic and research programs in his field.
